BIO


Fabio Sergio is Executive Creative Director at frog, where he leads innovation programs for clients such as Novartis, Vodafone, BBC, Swisscom, Telecom Italia, HP, LGE, Technogym and J&J's Lifescan.

He's happiest in areas at the intersection of design, technology and (social) connectivity, wrapping business scenarios around people's desires and dreams.

Prior to joining frog Fabio was an Associate Professor of Interaction Design at Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.
Previously he was Sr. Manager at 3 Italy, where he was responsible for the industrial design and user interface of mobile handsets and accessories, and where he worked extensively on value-added mobile services.
Prior to joining 3 Italy he was a User Experience Director at XYZ Reply, a User Experience Lead at Razorfish Milano, and an Interaction Designer in the Global Consumer Design Center of Whirlpool Europe.

Fabio has spoken internationally at conferences such as The Economist Technology Frontiers, The Guardian Mobile Summit, LIFT, Aspen Design Summit, Informa Healthcare Industry Summit, Stanford Mobile Health, The Rutberg Summit, Telco 2.0, Next, PMN's Mobile User Experience, Design Engaged and Frontiers of Interaction, in addition to various educational venues.
He is a visiting professor at the Politecnico di Milano, Domus Academy, SUPSI and Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.

He is also a member of the invitation-only International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which selects nominees and winners for the Webby Awards, the leading honor for web sites.

Fabio lives with his wife Valeria and their sons Andrea and Davide in Varese, Italy.
