Tate Modern in London has introduced a new way of guiding tours to their exhibitions. They are basically using mobile devices (Pocket PCs) to deliver location-related multimedia information about the art pieces.

a very similar concept called HIPS (Hyper Interaction within Physical Space) was actually developed way back in 1997.
i think it was even more interesting as users' art-browsing behaviors were monitored (time spent in front of each art piece, sequential vs casual patterns etc.) and used to create a "profile" to customize in real time the information displayed on their devices.

5 years for a de-tuned version of that idea to come to life.
uhm…

and today's topic is: life's humbling moments.

after having given up any hope of being google-d, today a nice surprise.
searching for "fabio sergio" finally shows my site, up there in the list, number two today.

then i checked the stats for freegorifero and found out that somebody stumbled on it searching for "useless ideas".
back to google and guess what: number five.

i am sure there is a moral in there somewhere...
